Dominick Scicchitano (Shiggy) is a 30 year-old musician, creator and visionary based in New York.

Specializing in music production, engineering, drums/percussion and creative direction, he has worked with artists of most styles/genres. With 10+ years of experience, his attention to detail and obsession with perfection keeps him creatively driven and consistent behind the music.

Born December 18th, 1993 in Syracuse, New York, Dominick had a passion for rhythm at a very early age. He began drumming at 5 years-old, receiving his first Fisher Price™ drumset from Toys-R-Us. What initially started as an outlet for too much energy evolved into raw passion. Growing up with a metalhead father, he was constantly surrounded by rock & roll music. Bands like AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine and Black Sabbath were some of the musical influences that heavily inspired his playing. From years 2001 - 2012 Dominick studied drums privately and in school, participating in numerous bands/ensembles, NYSSMA solos and All-State competitions—both concert and jazz. He joined classic rock cover band Off The Reservation from 2007 - 2010, playing hundreds of gigs and shows throughout New York State by the age of 15. By age 25, he had shared stages with Shooter Jennings, Great White, New Kingston, moe., Sara Evans, Eric Tessmer and more.

Midway through high school Dominick’s focus shifted from percussion to making beats. This ultimately fueled a love and obsession for audio production. Using his rhythmic feel from drumming mixed with extensive knowledge of jazz, soul and rock & roll catalogs, he emerged himself into the world of sampled beat-making. Over the past 10 years, Dominick has slowly developed his sound, studying the catalogs and techniques of legendary producers Pete Rock, J Dilla, Quincy Jones, Quest Love, Lex Luger, RJD2 and Thes One. In an effort to get the best quality sounding music, he learned and applied exceptional skills in recording, editing and mixing/mastering audio through others work in addition to his own.

Fast forward to 2024, Dominick pursues music full-time; focusing primarily on hip-hop production and vocal recording/mixing. With thousands of paid hours under his belt, he is just getting warmed up.
